Class Reflection
Throughout this semester in English class, I have learned a lot about different issues, not just my writing. I have enjoyed writing about topics that are not only important, but also interesting to write about. One thing that I really valued about my English class this semester was the fact that the range of topics for each paper was really broad. I also liked the fact that the teacher was really flexible concerning paper topics and the level of comfort each student had with his or her paper. I also enjoyed the ongoing topics in class. By this statement I mean that I enjoyed not having to talk about the same topic all the time, but I liked that everything we talked or wrote about had multiple aspects in common with each other. Although I do not like group projects, I did enjoy discussing topics with other students in class. Through this English class, I was able to improve my writing and my writing style. I learned about different types of arguments, and their uses in different situations and media. I liked learning about arguments not only through writing but also through videos and audio. I have to be honest in saying that I liked when class was cancelled two times too. I made some really good friends in class too. Talking about Raw Food was a fun and interesting way for the students to start thinking of possible topics for their papers. Overall, I enjoyed the class, and I enjoyed learning more about my writing.
